Description

| |
Award winner 2009 "Best Sailing Craft (all sizes)".A new generation cruising catamaran for the discerning owners and their closest friends, sharing the excitement of discovering new horizons and a new lifestyle, in home-like luxury and comfort.
Born out of the long-range cruising need for a large master cabin with large port lights, adequate space around the double bed, good headroom, functional drawing area, and large en-suite bathroom / heads, all with complete owner privacy. The Maverick 400 “Twin Owners Sailaway” is available with two of these master-suite sets; one in each hull. The Maverick 400 “Owners Sailaway” has one master-suite to starboard and two guest cabins sharing a bathroom / heads to port. A further Maverick 400 “Charter Sailaway” is being planned which would incorporate four guest cabins.
More good news. Add to the above lay-outs the choice of a large galley for the gourmet chef and the possibility of adding a washing machine / tumble dryer & dishwasher.
And more good news. An extra double bed behind the saloon for children (or grandchildren). Relax and watch your favourite movie on the flat screen TV.
And yes, don’t forget the sailing / cruising features. Large protected cockpit, flat decks, lazy super tramps, full set of sails, spray dodger, hydraulic lee-boards (under development) and a davit system. Long range fuel tanks as standard or go green and upgrade to the new electric motors.
And if you technocrats really need to know:
Naval architect Phil Southwell 30hp Volvo engines, with 115 amp alternators or Yanmar 29HP or Electric Inverter 3000w and battery management system Autopilot Raymarine Chart plotter / Radar C80 Raymarine New ST70 Multifunction Colour Instruments from Raymarine. Draft of only 0,8m Beamy 7.4m for that extra space when cruising Excellent load capacity. Short handling capability.
And of course, at Maverick Yachts safety is always our priority:
Collision bulkheads, sealed off. Separate fuel tanks for each engine. Two separate dedicated batteries for the two engines. CE certification ensuring the highest quality and safety standards.
